Philosophy
Ms. Karen’s teaching is rooted in creating a safe and effective learning environment tailored to each student’s unique needs. She believes that every learner has an innate potential to thrive and she adapts her lessons to recognize strengths, learning styles, and keeping it fun while balancing her approach with structure, mentorship, and creativity to flex towards necessary development and growth. She takes pride in nurturing curiosity, fostering resilience, and helping students thrive with confidence especially when facing difficult challenges.

Lessons can be held at Ms. Karen's home office. In-home or designated public space lessons are subject to travel fees.
*3pm pick-up may be available for students attending Taylor Park Elementary

Ms. Karen teaches in English only but is able to support students where English is not their first language in Cantonese and Mandarin.
Ms. Karen can listen, speak, read, and text in Cantonese fluently and Mandarin proficiently.
